Meet head Rider/Trainer Tory Montgomery descends from a family that could certainly be considered an equine dynasty. With true "horse blood" flowing through her veins inherited through three generations of horsemanship, life has bestowed her with great insight to what a horse feels.
Tory is dedicated to helping horses and riders improve their performance as an equestrian jumper competitor and believes in creating a positive and enjoyable environment where riders can achieve their goals and aspirations. Laughter. fun and a sense of accomplishment are at the heart of Tory's teaching approach. Enhanced through her own immense versatility, confidence and love, her training materializes into success with every horse and human she works with.
Her natural abilities combined with years of training with great riders like Richard Keller, Leslie Burr Howard, Richard Spooner, Buddy Brown and Bernie Traurig empowers Tory with a wonderful ability to effectively work with different types of horses. Tory believes in being open-minded and a trust me approach with each horse.

Coach Vickie, a 3rd generation life-long horse advocate passionately dedicated to removing the challenges horse owners and riders face in keeping their equine athletes sound, happy and healthy.
I help equestrians build a bond with their horses by removing pain, digestive issues and confidently ride their revitalized equine athlete in and out of the ring through a non-dominate training system.
Vickie and her husband Pat successfully run and operate The Yard Equine Center where we offer group young horse living, rehab and retirement for show horses.
Pat Montgomery
Meet dad, Pat Montgomery, the Chief Property Engineer of The Yard Equine Center.
He oversees the day to day operation, ensuring the facility runs smoothly. Not only that, but he also handles all the horse transportation to and from the shows and vet appointments. And let's not forget, he's Tory's biggest cheerleader.
