Chrome Caret MS is a beautiful chestnut filly with three white stockings and a star stripe that looks like a carrot. CC as she is known round The Yard, is nicely developing as a two year old with her long legs and good swing in movement. Suitable to be competitive in the hunter or jumper ring with great strong bloodlines to influence her suitability. At her foal inspection she received scores of overall impression 8,0. CC has started to learn the ropes of being a show horse, standing for the farrier, grooming, lunging and short stays in a stall time to time.
Chicardo, the sir of CC is a rare son of Clinton I has the extreme athletic quality of his progenitor and the kind, gentle temperament of a wonderfully ride-able amateur horse – especially important for mare owners that want to raise their foals at home. Chicardo was Champion of the 2007 Holsteiner stallion licensing (AHHA) earning 52 bonits and 9’s in jumping and 8’s for his trot and canter. Chicardo stamps his foals with lovely heads, great movement, superior jumping technique and the desire to please their owners/riders. Chicardo competed regularly at 1.40m+ at USEF “A” shows outside of the breeding season. Chicardo’s sire, Clinton I, was a top international jumper and ranked among the top WBF jumper sires of the world. Ramiro, Cor de la Bryere, Corrado and Capitol I appear prominently in Chicardo’s blood; he represents the top performance stamm 1298 – one of the best Holstein. Dam Mycarda produced three licensed sons.
Upper Class or better know as Cascada is the dam of CC that showed successfully in the Jumper and equitation division. Her sire Liostro (by Ladykiller xx) produced four advanced level dressage horses in Germany and 17 offspring who jumped 1.40m or higher. Liocalyon is one offspring and has three approved sons: Lillix WT approved AHHA, Oldenburg GOV, and RPSI; Leapfrog WT approved Oldenburg GOV and Peterbilt approved BWP elite stallion. Peterbilt was also the 2010 PCHA Horse of the year. LioCayon has produced top mares – Dragonfly WT owned by Alexia Honneger was the top bred AHHA mare for 2014 and Exclusive WT scored 52 bonits at the 2015 AHHA inspections. His most known offspring is Dunstan Delphi out of the thoroughbred mare Flower Power xx, jumped at the 160m level with Katie McVean, placing 6th in the World Cup final at Leipzig in 2011 and jumping clear rounds at the 2010 WEG.
